Lowest Weight: 130

Exercise: 45 min run/walk everyday this week except Saturday.

I still haven't decided which exercise program I am going to go with next.  I'm looking for something that will include some of everything like P90X did. Also a new gym just opened up walking distance from me, open 24 hrs at $34 per month. I am seriously contemplating it. Negative side is that it's smaller than the gyms I'm used to. It used to be a boutique in the shopping ctr. I felt like I had a bit of  claustrophobia when we went in to tour it. It didn't help that there were a ton of people in there that day either. What I do know is that I need to step my game up asap for operation Miami. I'd like to be able to fit into some of my old clothes and not have to buy any.

A few meals this week:

nothing fabulous i know...lol

I have got to get a new camera. Vivitar sucks on so many levels. It was a gift and beggars can't be choosey...but I'm just sayin.

After being hyped up on caffeine for 2 days of course I crashed...hard to say the least. I did a 1 hour run/walk each morning every day and also my P90X workout for that day. Didn't bother to log in to post any pics because food was VERY mediocre and the same as every other day. I finally went grocery shopping yesterday yay! Now time to catch up on my blog readin.

Reading IS Fundamental

I tell my daughter this all the time. Apparently I need to take note.

I had to share this because I feel like quite the fool right now while my friend is on my line cracking up!  Let me tell you first that I am NOT a tea or coffee person where I have to have it or I'll go nuts. I will not go out and purchase these items but will drink them if they're 1.) free 2.) decaffeinated.  Now my long time buddy is leaving for New York soon and in the midst of packing discovers boxes of boxes of teas. She told me that she had quite a few to give to me which she did after I first asked if they were decaffeinated and her reply was yes. I've been enjoying said teas almost daily with some Truvia and my dinner. Yesterday I ran out of box #1 which were all fruity so I opened box #2 and grabbed 3 pks of Earl Grey because I like my tea strong and full of flavor. I sipped on that tea from noon until night. Now you tea connoisseurs may already know what I'm getting to and may even be saying "you big dummy". Tonight while i was downstairs looking for the sleepytime tea, chatting away on the phone with my friend, I mentioned how i could not sleep. I then mentioned that I couldn't find the sleepytime tea and that I had had enough of the Earl Gray and the blue packs all day yesterday and today. At this point she burst out laughing and directed me to the bottom of the box.
sorry for the blur i took these with my phone

Now I still didn't understand why I was looking at this and she managed to instruct me in between laughs to look at the back of the packets. Both the grey and blue packets I have been consuming for 2 days are black teas. Well look at the crack caffeine contents in the black. I had already prepared some for tomorrow as well which is now down the drain.
No sleepytime tea and I am wide awake.
This is a good example for me to share with mini me why reading is fundamental. Mama's make mistakes too.

Week 12- Day 3

No Exercise

I am in some sort of insomniac state and I like it but I don't.  I like it because I am getting work done but the bad part is I want and need to go to sleep but my body won't rest. If that makes any sense at all. I finally fell off to sleep at 5:30 am this morning only to have to wake up at 7:30. Despite the nap I was in a great mood all day and did not yawn once. Is this what it feels like on cocaine caffeine? I haven't had either btw. I learned the hard way in the past that good sleep plays a major role in weight loss so I cannot have this monkey on my back any longer. I am going to turn off the pc, make some sleepytime tea, and call it a night.

Week 11- Day 4

YogaX- 10 mins
CardioX
Run/Walk- 1hr

I had alot of research to do in preparation for a project that lasted until 3am. I set my alarm to wake up at 6am to go for a run. When the alarm went off I kept hitting the snooze button for 15 minutes until I finally peeled myself out of bed. That's my determination coming back.  I made a promise to myself that I was getting up by any means necessary and heading out the door for my run and that's exactly what I did. It felt great to be out and I gave myself a little pat on the back for sticking to my guns. I admit that's something that I rarely do, but I'm working on it. Now as for the rest of my day...I was in true bitch mode Lol. I have a few people to apologize to tomorrow. My alarm is so friggen loud it awakened Mini Me so she decided to ride her bike while I ran. Never again. I love the company especially since my associate just gave up on exercising, but MM holds me back. She makes me laugh and I end up stopping several times with her because she's out of breath. Not today. There was no way I was allowing her to interrupt my run this morning. My plan was to keep moving the entire time and I warned her before she tagged along. I counted 4 stops that she made en route. 3 because she was tired and 1 to rescue a turtle. Whining for me to take breaks with her the whole time. Geesh, when I was 17 I was full of energy. They don't make'em like they used to.

Week 11- Day 3

Back & Biceps, AbRipperX

My best friend wants to go to Miami for her birthday in October. I officially have 60 days to get it right or get left. It's on. Time for me to get back on track with the same determination that I had when I first started this journey. I must confess I have slacked off quite a bit. My exercises are rushed and I know that I can eat better. Since omitting meat from my meals my body just feels much better. I love Morningstar Farms but I'd like to eat more homemade fresh veggie filled meals. I do plan to purchase some cook books very soon but until then I know better choices need to be made. I'm almost done with P90X so I'm going to have to think of my next plan of action.....

Breakfast: Oikos caramel Greek yogurt-no pic

Lunch: Morningstar Farms veggie chicken patty on an Earthgrain thin bun & 2 kiwis

Dinner: Tabatchnick chilli with 1/2 crumbled Morningstar Farms Prime Griller & 1/2 cup Uncle Bens brown rice

Snacks: POM infused Blackberry Dumplings

            1 orange

Week 11- Day 2

Cardio X
Bike Ride

I had alot of work to do in the morning so breakfast was grab and go. Basically I grabbed a banana and an Oikos caramel yogurt on my way out of the door and ate it in the car. Lunch was rushed because I was starving so I grabbed a salad from a local deli spot. I got it just in the nick of time too. As I was paying for my food a family of 4 came in and both adults and kids were coughing and sneezing like crazy! Um eeewwwwwww! Are you serious? I have never been one to go into an eating establishment while I was sick let alone take my children. Could not wrap my mind around that one but we were grossed out. Speaking of being grossed out...a potential "date" told me today that he has a rotten tooth in his mouth along with an abscess on his gums.  Yeah you read that right. Reread it and let it marinate for a moment because that's exactly what I did. I'll wait.

Are you done?

Okay. After multiple stomach flips and shoulder shudders I could not for the life of me fathom why he told me this. I asked "dude are you trying to run me off?" His reply was a heartfelt no followed by numerous text messages and phone calls to try to reassure me but I'm sorry dude.  When people speak to me I visualize their words. I'm afraid that if I ever see him again I will only see a yuck mouth.  Which reminds me of that vintage 70's commercial.

*sigh* anywho...

Giveaway!

Back 2 School Giveaway!

School is right around the corner sooner than some may think (myself included)! I think this giveaway is just in time! This super cool gift pack , product information , and additional prize pack to give away were all given to me by Yoplait through MyBlogSpark!

Mini me was so giddy  much like a younger child when the package arrived. I came home at lunchtime and we decided to head to the store to utilize the coupon for the Go-Gurt. School starts next week so she's been preparing for it all week. Since she will be including these in her cool new lunchbag, she chose the flavor Strawberry Splash. As soon as we were back at home we put them in the freezer so that we'd be able to try one later. To give an honest review we'd have to try it right? Right.  It was all of what we expected. Easy to open, handle and cool creamy goodness. Mini me ate 3 of them.

With Go-Gurt yogurt in your child´s lunch box, you can feel confident that there will be no snack trading at lunch time since Go-Gurt has a taste and texture that kids love! Moms can feel good about packing Go-Gurt each morning since each portable tube contains a good source of calcium and vitamin D, providing a wholesome addition to a well-balanced lunch. Available in a variety of cool, fun flavors like Strawberry Splash and Chill-Out Cherry, Go-Gurt will quickly become a refreshing classroom favorite.

There is no ice pack needed - Go-Gurt (and Simply... Go-Gurt too!) is specially made to freeze and thaw, keeping the yogurt, and the rest of lunch, cool until lunch time.

In addition you can visit here to download a printable *coupon for $0.85 off one box of Yoplait Go-Gurt yogurt today!
