A Day of Rest....
Except i didn't do much resting. I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't get back to sleep until hours later. Because of this I slept until almost noon. I spent the remainder of the day cooking for myself and for a friend for the week. I'm beat.
Brunch: watermelon & canteloupe
Dinner: Lentil loaf -the recipe that I used came from Eat, Live, Run, paired with sweet potatoes w/ cinnamon
I fooled my friend he actually thought meat was in it and scraped his plate clean! It was very tasty and he and I both agreed that the simple sauce should be bottled. I had to make an extra batch of it alone.
He was so surprised when I told him what was in it...afterward. (*I made sure he wasn't allergic to any of the ingredients first lol)
While waiting in a super long line at Wal-Mart yesterday, I grabbed this mag and began to read it and just couldn't put it down. I had to buy it. It is so chock full of information and answered questions that i really needed answered. The Fat Loss Q & A is no joke...love it.
Hope everyone had a great day!

I LOVE Oxygen Magazine, i was always buying issues taht I finally broke down and got a subscription. This looks like a special issue so i will have to go out and look for it. Have a great night
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to try that recipe. It looks like meatloaf.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog & food pix! Even though I'm not a vegetarian, the lentil loaf looks so tasty! I got the recipe and copied it. Can you use 1 egg in place of the flax seed & water?
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your continued weight loss and fitness goals! You look great! Lorraine
